OVERVIEW: In a murder case, defendant's motions to quash the indictment and for a new trial were properly overruled. Defendant failed to show that the laws of Mississippi and the Mississippi Constitution, which were not discriminatory on their face, were administered in a discriminatory way so as to prevent African American persons from becoming jurors.
