Citation: 431 U.S. 407

1. Connor v. Finch, No. 76-777, SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES, Argued February 28, 1977 , May 31, 1977 *; * Together with No. 76-933, Finch, Governor of Mississippi, et al. v. Connor et al.; No. 76-934, United States v. Finch, Governor of Mississippi, et al.; and 76-935, Connor et al. v. Finch, Governor of Mississippi, et al., also on appeal from the same court.

OVERVIEW: A reapportionment plan adopted by a federal district court for the Mississippi legislature was constitutionally invalid because the districts were of uneven populations, thus violating the Equal Protection standard of one person, one vote.
