OVERVIEW: Certiorari was denied in cases raising issue of whether Constitution prohibited use of peremptory challenges to exclude members of particular group from jury, based on a prosecutor's assumption of their bias. It was a sound exercise of the Court's discretion to allow states to decide additional cases, and no conflict existed in the federal system.
