    The Thomas Register is a free resource but does require the user to select a User ID and Password. More than 156,000 American and Canadian companies are listed on the Thomas Register with more than 135,000 brand name listings. The user is able to find out what the company produces and browse through a list of Online Supplier Catalogs.
