Overview: Alien's petition for review was denied where the IJ's decision to deny alien relief on claim for asylum was supported by substantial evidence. Because the only evidence of a threat to alien's life or freedom depended upon alien's credibility, adverse credibility determination necessarily precluded success on the claim for withholding of removal.

Overview: Although a conclusion that an alien's testimony was implausible was improper speculation, remand was not necessary because the valid bases for the IJ's adverse credibility determination, the testimony's inconsistencies, so far outweighed the erroneous basis that he had no realistic possibility of a different result on remand of an asylum claim.
