Overview: Defendant's sentence was affirmed. District court considered defendant's downward departure motion under USSG § 5K2.11 based on argument that his patriotic motives warranted reduced sentence but determined that, regardless of motives, public interest in punishing and deterring dangerous and illegal conduct defendant committed was not diminished.
