U.S.S.G. § 2G1.3, the appropriate section for violations of 18 U.S.C.S. § 2423(b), specifically referred the court back to U.S.S.G. § 2A3.1. Overview: District court did not err when it denied state inmate's petition for habeas relief on his claim that he was denied effective assistance of counsel because counsel decided that self-defense was best defense, and did not raise voluntary intoxication or diminished capacity during inmate's trial on charge that he violated Mich. Comp. Laws § 750.83.
