Overview: Summary judgment was properly entered against inmate in § 1983 suit. Inmate's U.S. Const. amend. VIII rights were not violated by disciplinary segregation confinement conditions. State law provided adequate remedy for violations of inmate's legal rights. He failed to show connection between alleged retaliation and filing of grievances and lawsuit.
