Overview: A credit card company that accepted checks for payment of a spouse's account from a fiduciary was not liable under Mo. Rev. Stat. § 469.270 because it acted in good faith and in a commercially reasonable manner; the company had no knowledge of the fiduciary status, and an automated check processing system was used.
