Overview: Because D.C. Code §§ 7-2502.02(a)(4), 7-2507.02, 22-4504 (insofar as § 22-4504 prevented carrying a pistol in a registrant's home), amounted to a complete unconstitutional prohibition on the lawful use of handguns for self-defense, those provisions were unconstitutional; the dismissal of a police officer's Second Amendment challenge was reversed.
