Overview: Defendant's possession of many dogs who apparently engaged in fighting, and related equipment, as well as a controlled substance used to make them aggressive, adequately supported dog fighting and controlled substance possession convictions. An enhanced sentence under the Habitual Felony Offender Act, Ala. Code § 13A-5-9, was not cruel or unusual.

Overview: Aide was not entitled to immunity as matter of law under Ala. R. Civ. P. 56(c) where she allegedly injured student while transferring him from changing table to wheelchair.
