Overview: Trial court properly denied a social worker's motion for summary judgment as to claims that his negligence in performing an abuse investigation led to the injury of children because the social worker was not entitled to immunity under Ala. Code § 26-14-9 as that statute applied only to claims related to the reporting of child abuse.
