Overview: In a criminal trial, the judge properly restricted expert testimony as a discovery sanction under Alaska R. Crim. P. 16(c)(4), and was not required to impose a continuance instead, because, in addition to finding bad faith, the judge found that lesser sanctions would not cure the prejudice to the State and would not ensure future compliance.
