Overview: Based on totality of the circumstances, particularly the lack of any evidence of bad faith on defendant's part, it was error for trial court to refuse his request to withdraw his Faretta waiver and reassert his constitutional right to have counsel appointed; as the error was structural, reversal was required without analysis of prejudicial effect.
