Overview: Defendant's conviction for criminal impersonation was affirmed because Colo. Rev. Stat. § 18-5-113(1)(e) did not require proof of two acts; rather it criminalized the use of a false identity with the intent to gain an unlawful benefit, such as defendant's use of a false identity to avoid arrest under an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop.

Overview: Statements a defendant made to officer after being advised that the stabbing victim had died were properly suppressed by the trial court because they were the product of psychological coercion, as the officer's questions after defendant's breakdown implied that he sought to take advantage of her emotional state.
