Overview: A grant of summary judgment in favor of the landlord in the parents' and son's action after the son was bitten by a dog in the backyard of the tenants' residence was proper pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 13-21-115 (2004) where the landlord did not owe the son a duty of care because the landlord was not a "person in possession" of the real property.
