Overview: Denial of workers' compensation benefits to a volunteer reserve police officer was reversed as Colo. Rev. Stat. ? 8-40-202(1)(a)(I)(A) was held to be unconstitutional; there was no rational basis to exclude volunteer police from being considered employees when all other similarly situated groups listed in the statute were deemed employees.
