Overview: It was an abuse of discretion to refuse to grant defendant an evidentiary hearing to determine the admissibility of evidence of a victim's prior sexual conduct because the evidence was admissible under an exception to the rape shield statute, Conn. Gen. Stat. ¿ 54-86f(4). He presented facts showing the falsity of the victim's prior allegations.

Overview: Defendant was properly convicted of interfering with an officer in violation of Conn. Gen. Stat. ¿ 53a-167a(a). The jury could have found that defendant's refusals to enter a police vehicle when ordered to do so and to turn around and put his hands behind his back delayed an officer in the performance of his duties in effecting defendant's arrest.

The evidence was sufficient for a second-degree manslaughter conviction under Conn. Gen. Stat. ¿ 53a-56(a)(1) when defendant disregarded the risk of distributing prescription drugs.
