Overview: Award of liquidated damages under Del. Code Ann. tit. 19, § 2357 was improper because the demand for payment was made when the bill was initially presented to employer, the 30-day default began to run when a default in payment occurred, which was 31 days after receipt, and here, the bill was substantially paid off 21 days after default.
