Overview: Although the attorney's conviction for the felony offense of making false statements relating to federal pension law did not involve moral turpitude per se under D.C. Code Ann. ¿ 11-2503(a) (2001), his deliberate and intentionally unlawful conduct nevertheless did involve moral turpitude and warranted the recommended discipline of disbarment.
