Overview: Under ¿ 627.727(2), Fla. Stat., an insured was not entitled to UM coverage under his personal liability umbrella policy because he had rejected such coverage at the time he applied for the policy. The statute required only that an issuer of a non-primary policy notify an applicant of the availability of UM coverage, which the insurers had done.
