Overview: Search incident to an outstanding warrant, despite its erroneous issuance, and not incident to the illegal stop, was sufficiently attenuated from any illegality. Thus, the taint of the illegal stop of defendant did not require that the evidence seized incident to the arrest made pursuant to the warrant was not to be suppressed.
