Williams v. City of Atlanta, S06A1879., SUPREME COURT OF GEORGIA, January 8, 2007, Decided

Overview: Trial court did not err in denying an employee's request for mandamus relief, as he had no clear legal right to a reinstatement of his job, and based on his federal conviction, said claim was moot. Further, the existence of an employment contract, under which he sought the same compensation as a quantum meruit claim, precluded that claim.
