Overview: As a claimant recovered $8,305 from the driver who hit her while she was at work, the appellate court held that under Haw. Rev. Stat. § 386-8, the industrial relations board correctly determined that the employer was entitled to a $8,305 credit against any future workers' compensation benefits it might owe as a result of the claimant's work injury.
