Overview: After a bench trial, defendant obtained a remand with regard to his conviction for possession of a controlled substance, in violation of 720 Ill. Comp. Stat. 570/402(c), since the trial court erred by not considering a third party's admissions to owning certain drug items found in defendant's truck, which served as the basis for the conviction.
