Overview: In Jones Act claim, 46 U.S.C.S. § 688, based on photographs and expert's testimony that employer failed to comply with its own safety policy to minimize any fall hazard and could have done so by installing handrail on vessel's platform, jury could have concluded that employer breached its duty of care to employee by not exercising reasonable care.
