Overview: Attorney was disbarred for misconduct in 4 matters, one of most egregious was his knowing conversion of more than $ 9,000 of his client's funds by placing them into his operating account; as attorney knew his client disputed the fee he, therefore, had clear duty to place disputed funds in his trust account pursuant to La. St. Bar art. XVI, R. 1.5.

|
Overview: Suspended attorney violated La. St. Bar art. XVI, R. 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 8.1(c), and 8.4(d) and was disbarred for misconduct in 27 cases; common thread was his complete and utter disregard for welfare of his clients and in virtually every case, he took fees from clients, performed little or no work on their cases, and refused to refund unearned fees.
