|
Overview: A state trial court erred by declaring that La. Rev. Stat. Ann. 22:253(A), as amended by 2004 La. Acts 689, was unconstitutional; life insurance beneficiary's breach of contract suit was resolvable by applying unambiguous policy language limiting cash value of industrial burial policies to $500 each, thus, constitutional issue was reached in error.
