Overview: Summary judgment in favor of a trust on owners' suit seeking a declaration that the trust's swim area line interfered with the owners' easement rights to a beach area was proper because plain, unambiguous language of easement did not encompass right to access area by boat, but, rather, limited scope of easement to swimming and sunbathing.

Overview: Admission, in defendant's trial for obstructing criminal prosecution, of girlfriend's statement given in connection with protective order complaint was proper under Me. R. Evid. 801(d)(1)(A) because, inter alia, protection from abuse order was an "official proceeding," and the girlfriend was subject to cross-examination at defendant's trial.
