Overview: Mich. Comp. Laws § 600.5805(14) directed that period of limitations for actions against architects was provided by Mich. Comp. Laws § 600.5839(1). Six-year period of Mich. Comp. Laws § 600.5839(1) operated as statute of limitations and statute of repose; thus, worker's action for damages, brought well within this time period, was not time-barred.

Overview: Judgment of the court of appeals affirming the denial of defendant's motion to dismiss was reversed and remanded to the trial court because the crime of nonsupport under Mich. Comp.
