Overview: In public employees' action seeking health benefits for same-sex domestic partners and challenging the marriage amendment, Const. 1963, art I, § 25, the trial court erred in upholding certain public employer benefit agreements as the marriage amendment plainly prohibited public employers from recognizing same-sex unions for any purpose.
