Overview: The trial court erred in amending its judgments nunc pro tunc to the effect that defendant received less credit for time served; in order to enter these amended judgments, adding to the record was required, and thus the judgments were not within the purview of Mont. Code Ann. § 46-18-116(3) and had to be vacated.

Overview: Where defendant was given life sentences on two counts of deliberate homicide, the district court did not err by denying his motion to correct or modify his sentence under Mont. Code Ann. § 46-18-117. The sentencing court was permitted to rely on a psychological evaluation. Sentencing credit could not be applied to his parole eligibility date.
