Overview: Plaintiff's privity with insurer and status as third-party beneficiary to an insurance policy existed only until insurer satisfied its contractual obligations to the extent of the insurance policy provisions. Upon paying out the limits of the policy, insurer fulfilled its contractual obligations, and plaintiff ceased to have privity with insurer.
