Overview: There was no speedy trial violation, under R.C. § 2945.71, as the later trial date was the result of defendant's own conduct. The days that accrued prior to his re-arrest did not count against the speedy trial time. He failed to show at his status pre-trial, for his stipulated polygraph test, and to remain in contact with his attorney.
