CategoriesHow to use the Keyword Search

Type one or more words in the Keyword Search box. If you type more than one word, you can use connectors to narrow your search appropriately.

  1. Click Submit.
  2. The search engine will return a list of forms or form categories related to your search word(s). The titles that match your search most closely will display first on the list.

CategoriesHow to use the Advanced Search

An Advanced Search allows you to narrow down your search for a form under a general topic or a specific jurisdiction.

  1. In the Keyword Search box, click Advanced Search.
  2. Type one or more key words, or a specific form number, in the Advanced Search text box.
  3. To narrow your search down further, select the topical forms package or jurisdiction you wish to search. If you are seeking jurisdiction-specific forms, always select that jurisdiction, and then type the key words or form number in the text box.

For example, when searching for forms in a specific jurisdiction, select that jurisdiction from the drop down list, "California", and then add the form number or keyword about the form in the Descriptive Terms field, e.g., "Form 1292", or "disclosure declaration." If you are searching for a particular bankruptcy form, select the Topic "Bankruptcy" and enter either the form number, "Official Form 6", or a descriptive word about the form, "Schedule", in the Descriptive Terms field
